Revised Version 1895
Zechariah 12:2-7
2beholdH2009, I will makeH7760 JerusalemH3389 a cup of reelingH7478 unto allH3605 the peoplesH5971 roundH5439 aboutH1961, and uponH5921 JudahH3063 also shall it be in the siegeH4692 againstH5921 JerusalemH3389.
3And it shall comeH1961 to passH1961 in that dayH3117, that I will makeH7760 JerusalemH3389 a burdensomeH6006 stoneH68 for allH3605 the peoplesH5971; allH3605 that burdenH6006 themselvesH622 with it shall be sore wounded; and allH3605 the nationsH1471 of the earthH776 shall be gatheredH622 togetherH622 againstH5921 it.
4In that dayH3117, saith the LORDH3068, I will smiteH5221 everyH3605 horseH5483 with astonishment, and his riderH7392 with madnessH7697: and I will openH6491 mine eyesH5869 uponH5921 the houseH1004 of JudahH3063, and will smiteH5221 everyH3605 horseH5483 of the peoplesH5971 with blindnessH5788.
5And the chieftains of JudahH3063 shall sayH559 in their heartH3820, The inhabitantsH3427 of JerusalemH3389 are my strength in the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635 their GodH430.
6In that dayH3117 will I makeH7760 the chieftains of JudahH3063 like a panH3595 of fireH784 among woodH6086, and like a torchH3940 of fireH784 among sheavesH5995; and they shall devourH398 allH3605 the peoplesH5971 roundH5439 aboutH5439, on the rightH3225 handH3225 and on the leftH8040: and JerusalemH3389 shall yet againH5750 dwellH3427 in herH3605 own placeH8478, evenH5750 in JerusalemH3389.
7The LORDH3068 also shall saveH3467 the tentsH168 of JudahH3063 firstH7223, that the gloryH8597 of the houseH1004 of DavidH1732 and the gloryH8597 of the inhabitantsH3427 of JerusalemH3389 be notH3808 magnifiedH1431 aboveH5921 JudahH3063.
