Revised Version 1895

Zechariah 11:7-11

7SoH3651 I fed the flockH6629 of slaughterH2028, verily the poorH6041 of the flockH6629. And I tookH3947 unto meH7121 twoH8147 staves; the one I calledH7121 BeautyH5278, and the otherH259 I calledH7121 Bands; and I fed the flockH6629.

8And I cutH3582 offH3582 the threeH7969 shepherdsH7462 in one monthH3391; for my soulH5315 was weary of them, and their soulH5315 also loathed meH5315.

9Then saidH559 I, I will notH3808 feedH398 youH3808: that that dieth, letH3808 it dieH4191; and that that is to be cutH3582 offH3582, letH3808 it be cutH3582 offH3582; and letH3808 them whichH802 are leftH7604 eatH398 everyH802 one the fleshH1320 of anotherH802.

10And I tookH3947 my staffH4731 BeautyH5278, and cutH3772 it asunderH1438, that I might breakH6565 my covenantH1285 whichH834 I had madeH3772 with allH3605 the peoplesH5971.

11And it was brokenH6565 in that dayH3117: and thusH3651 the poorH6041 of the flockH6629 that gave heedH8104 unto meH8104 knewH3045 that it was the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068.
