Joshua 9:3-9
But when the inhabitantsH3427 of GibeonH1391 heardH8085 whatH834 JoshuaH3091 had doneH6213 unto JerichoH3405 and to AiH5857,
they also didH6213 work wilily, and went and madeH6213 as if they had been ambassadors, and tookH3947 old sacksH8242 upon their asses, and wineskinsH4997, old and rent and bound upH1234;
and old shoesH5275 and clouted uponH5921 their feetH7272, and old garmentsH8008 uponH5921 them; and allH3605 the breadH3899 of their provisionH3899 was dryH3001 and was becomeH1961 mouldy.
And they wentH935 to JoshuaH3091 unto the campH4264 at GilgalH1537, and saidH559 unto him, and to the menH376 of IsraelH3478, WeH6258 are comeH935 from a farH7350 countryH776: nowH6258 therefore makeH3772 ye a covenantH1285 with usH413.
And the menH376 of IsraelH3478 saidH559 unto the HivitesH2340, Peradventure ye dwellH3427 among usH413; and howH349 shall weH7130 makeH3772 a covenantH1285 with youH859?
And they saidH559 unto JoshuaH3091, WeH587 are thy servantsH5650. And JoshuaH3091 saidH559 unto them, Who are ye? and from whence comeH935 ye?
And they saidH559 unto him, From a veryH3966 farH7350 countryH776 thy servantsH5650 are comeH935 becauseH3588 of the nameH8034 of the LORDH3068 thy GodH430: for weH3588 have heardH8085 the fameH8034 of him, and allH3605 that he didH6213 in EgyptH4714,
