Joshua 7:13-24

13UpH6965, sanctifyH6942 the peopleH5971, and sayH559, SanctifyH6942 yourselves againstH6440 tomorrowH4279: for thusH3541 saith the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, There is a devotedH2764 thingH3588 in the midstH7130 of thee, O IsraelH3478: thou canst notH3808 standH6965 beforeH6440 thine enemiesH341, untilH5704 ye takeH5493 awayH5493 the devotedH2764 thingH3588 from among youH3588.

14In the morningH1242 therefore ye shall be broughtH7126 nearH7126 by your tribesH7626: and it shall be, that the tribeH7626 whichH834 the LORDH3068 taketh shall comeH1961 nearH7126 by familiesH4940; and the familyH4940 whichH834 the LORDH3068 shall takeH3920 shall comeH1961 nearH7126 by householdsH1004; and the householdH1004 whichH834 the LORDH3068 shall takeH3920 shall comeH1961 nearH7126 manH1397 by manH1397.

15And it shall be, that he that is takenH3920 with the devotedH2764 thingH5039 shall be burntH8313 with fireH784, he and allH3605 that he hath: becauseH3588 he hath transgressed the covenantH1285 of the LORDH3068, and becauseH3588 he hath wrought follyH5039 in IsraelH3478.

16SoH7126 JoshuaH3091 roseH7925 upH7925 earlyH7925 in the morningH1242, and broughtH7126 IsraelH3478 nearH7126 by their tribesH7626; and the tribeH7626 of JudahH3063 was takenH3920:

17and he broughtH7126 nearH7126 the familyH4940 of JudahH3063; and he tookH3920 the familyH4940 of the ZerahitesH2227: and he broughtH7126 nearH7126 the familyH4940 of the ZerahitesH2227 manH1397 by manH1397; and ZabdiH2067 was takenH3920:

18and he broughtH7126 nearH7126 his householdH1004 manH1397 by manH1397; and AchanH5912, the sonH1121 of CarmiH3756, the sonH1121 of ZabdiH2067, the sonH1121 of ZerahH2226, of the tribeH4294 of JudahH3063, was takenH3920.

19And JoshuaH3091 saidH559 unto AchanH5912, My sonH1121, giveH5414, I prayH4994 thee, gloryH3519 to the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, and makeH7760 confessionH8426 unto him; and tellH5046 meH413 nowH4994 whatH4100 thou hast doneH6213; hideH3582 it notH408 from meH413.

20And AchanH5912 answeredH559 JoshuaH3091, and saidH559, Of a truth I have sinnedH2398 againstH2398 the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, and thus and thus have I doneH6213:

21when I sawH7200 among the spoilH7998 a goodly Babylonish mantleH155, and twoH3947 hundredH3967 shekelsH8255 of silverH3701, and a wedge of goldH2091 of fiftyH2572 shekelsH8255 weightH4948, then I covetedH2530 them, and tookH3947 them; and, beheld, they are hidH2934 in the earthH776 in the midstH8432 of my tentH168, and the silverH3701 underH8478 it.

23And they tookH3947 them from the midstH8432 of the tentH168, and broughtH935 them unto JoshuaH3091, and unto allH3605 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478; and they laidH6440 them downH3332 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068.

24And JoshuaH3091, and allH3605 IsraelH3478 with him, tookH3947 AchanH5912 the sonH1121 of ZerahH2226, and the silverH3701, and the mantleH155, and the wedge of goldH2091, and his sonsH1121, and his daughtersH1323, and his oxenH7794, and his asses, and his sheepH6629, and his tentH168, and allH3605 that he had: and they broughtH5927 them upH5927 unto the valleyH6010 of AchorH5911.
