Joshua 11:1-15

2and to the kingsH4428 that were on the northH6828, in the hillH2022 countryH2022, and in the ArabahH6160 southH5045 of ChinnerothH3672, and in the lowlandH8219, and in the heights of DorH1756 on the westH3220,

3to the CanaaniteH3669 on the eastH4217 and on the westH3220, and the AmoriteH567, and the HittiteH2850, and the PerizziteH6522, and the JebusiteH2983 in the hillH2022 countryH2022, and the HiviteH2340 underH8478 HermonH2768 in the landH776 of MizpahH4709.

4And they wentH3318 outH3318, they and allH3605 their hosts with them, muchH7230 peopleH5971, evenH5921 as the sandH2344 that is uponH5921 the seaH3220 shoreH8193 in multitudeH7230, with horsesH5483 and chariotsH7393 veryH3966 manyH7227.

5And allH3605 theseH428 kingsH4428 met togetherH3162; and they cameH935 and pitchedH2583 togetherH3162 at the watersH4325 of MeromH4792, to fightH3898 with IsraelH3478.

6And the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto JoshuaH3091, Be notH408 afraidH3372 becauseH3588 of them: for tomorrowH4279 at this time will I deliverH5414 them upH5414 allH3605 slainH2491 beforeH6440 IsraelH3478: thou shalt hough their horsesH5483, and burnH8313 their chariotsH4818 with fireH784.

7SoH935 JoshuaH3091 cameH935, and allH3605 the peopleH5971 of warH4421 with him, againstH5921 them by the watersH4325 of MeromH4792 suddenlyH6597, and fellH5307 uponH5921 them.

8And the LORDH3068 deliveredH5414 them intoH3027 the handH3027 of IsraelH3478, and they smoteH5221 them, and chasedH7291 them unto greatH7227 Zidon, and unto Misrephoth-maimH4956, and unto the valleyH1237 of MizpehH4708 eastwardH4217; and they smoteH5221 them, untilH5704 they leftH7604 them none remainingH7604.

9And JoshuaH3091 didH6213 unto them as the LORDH3068 bade him: he houghed their horsesH5483, and burntH8313 their chariotsH4818 with fireH784.

10And JeshuaH3091 turnedH7725 backH7725 at that time, and tookH3920 HazorH2674, and smoteH5221 the kingH4428 thereof with the swordH2719: for HazorH2674 beforetime was the headH7218 of allH3605 thoseH428 kingdomsH4467.

11And they smoteH5221 allH3605 the soulsH5315 that were therein with the edgeH6310 of the swordH2719, utterly destroying them: there was noneH3808 leftH3498 that breathedH5397: and he burntH8313 HazorH2674 with fireH784.

12And allH3605 the citiesH5892 of thoseH428 kingsH4428, and allH3605 the kingsH4428 of them, didH834 JoshuaH3091 takeH3920, and he smoteH5221 them with the edgeH6310 of the swordH2719, and utterly destroyedH5221 them; as MosesH4872 the servantH5650 of the LORDH3068 commandedH6680.

13But as for the citiesH5892 that stoodH5975 on their moundsH8510, IsraelH3478 burnedH8313 noneH3808 of them, save HazorH2674 onlyH7535; that didH3808 JoshuaH3091 burnH8313.

14And allH3605 the spoilH7998 of theseH428 citiesH5892, and the cattleH929, the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 tookH853 for a preyH962 unto themselvesH1992; but everyH3605 manH120 they smoteH5221 with the edgeH6310 of the swordH2719, untilH5704 they had destroyedH8045 them, neitherH3808 leftH7604 they anyH3605 that breathedH5397.

15As the LORDH3068 commandedH6680 MosesH4872 his servantH5650, soH3651 didH6213 MosesH4872 commandH6680 JoshuaH3091: and soH3651 didH6213 JoshuaH3091; he leftH5493 nothingH3808 undone of allH3605 that the LORDH3068 commandedH6680 MosesH4872.
