Revised Version 1895
Ecclesiastes 3:9-15
9WhatH4100 profitH3504 hath he that worketh in that whereinH834 he laboureth?
10I have seenH7200 the travail whichH834 GodH430 hath givenH5414 to the sonsH1121 of menH120 to be exercised therewith.
11He hath madeH6213 everyH3605 thingH3605 beautifulH3303 in itsH3605 time: also he hath setH5414 the world in their heartH3820, yet soH6213 that manH120 cannotH3808 findH4672 outH3605 the workH4639 that GodH430 hath doneH6213 from the beginningH7218 evenH1571 to the endH5490.
12I knowH3045 that there is nothingH369 betterH2896 for them, thanH2896 to rejoiceH8055, and to doH6213 goodH2896 soH6213 long as they liveH2416.
13And also that everyH3605 manH120 should eatH398 and drinkH8354, and enjoyH7200 goodH2896 in allH3605 his labour, is the giftH4991 of GodH430.
14I knowH3045 that, whatsoeverH3605 GodH430 doeth, it shall be for everH5769: nothingH369 canH834 be put to it, norH369 anyH3605 thingH3588 takenH1639 from it: and GodH430 hath doneH6213 it, that menH3605 should fearH3372 beforeH6440 him.
15That whichH834 is hath been alreadyH3528; and that whichH834 is to be hath alreadyH3528 been: and GodH430 seeketh againH1961 that whichH834 is passedH1961 away.
