Revised Literal Translation
Ecclesiastes 3:9-15
9What profitH3504 hath he that workethH6213 in that whereinH834 he labourethH6001?
10I have seenH7200 the travailH6045, which GodH430 hath givenH5414 to the sonsH1121 of menH120 to be exercisedH6031 in it.
11He hath madeH6213 every thing beautifulH3303 in his timeH6256: also he hath setH5414 eternityH5769 in their heartH3820, so thatH1097 no manH120 can find outH4672 the workH4639 that GodH430 makethH6213 from the beginningH7218 to the endH5490.
12I knowH3045 that there is no goodH2896 in them, but for a man to rejoiceH8055, and to doH6213 goodH2896 in his lifeH2416.
13And also that every manH120 should eatH398 and drinkH8354, and enjoyH7200 the goodH2896 of all his labourH5999, it is the giftH4991 of GodH430.
14I knowH3045 that, whatsoever GodH430 doethH6213, it shall be for everH5769: nothingH369 can be putH3254 to it, nor any thing takenH1639 from it: and GodH430 doethH6213 it, that men should fearH3372 beforeH6440 him.
15That which hath been is nowH3528; and that which is to be hath alreadyH3528 been; and GodH430 requirethH1245 that which is pastH7291.1
