Chronicles 28:1-6

And DavidH1732 assembledH6950 allH3605 the prices of IsraelH3478, the princesH8269 of the tribesH7626, and the captainsH8269 of the companies that servedH8334 the kingH4428 by course, and the captainsH8269 of thousandsH505, and the captainsH8269 of hundredsH3967, and the rulersH8269 over allH3605 the substanceH2428 and possessionsH7399 of the kingH4428 and of his sonsH1121, with the officersH8269, and the mightyH1368 menH1368, evenH853 allH3605 the mightyH1368 menH1368 of valour, unto JerusalemH3389.

Then DavidH1732 the kingH4428 stoodH6965 upH6965 uponH5921 his feetH7272, and saidH559, HearH8085 meH5921, my brethrenH251, and my peopleH5971: as for meH5921, it was in mineH5973 heartH3824 to buildH1129 an houseH1004 of restH4496 for the arkH727 of the covenantH1285 of the LORDH3068, and for the footstool of our GodH430; and I had madeH3559 readyH3559 for the buildingH1129.

But GodH430 saidH559 unto meH3808, Thou shalt notH3808 buildH1129 an houseH1004 for my nameH8034, becauseH3588 thou art a manH376 of warH4421, and hast shedH8210 bloodH1818.

Howbeit the LORDH3068, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, choseH977 meH5921 outH5921 of allH3605 the houseH1004 of my fatherH1 to be kingH4428 over IsraelH3478 for everH5769: for he hath chosenH977 JudahH3063 to be princeH5057; and in the houseH1004 of JudahH3063, the houseH1004 of my fatherH1; and among the sonsH1121 of my fatherH1 he tookH1961 pleasureH7521 in meH5921 to makeH7521 meH5921 kingH4428 over allH3605 IsraelH3478:

And of allH3605 my sonsH1121, (for the LORDH3068 hath givenH5414 meH5414 manyH7227 sonsH1121,) he hath chosenH977 SolomonH8010 my sonH1121 to sitH3427 uponH5921 the throneH3678 of the kingdomH4438 of the LORDH3068 over IsraelH3478.

And he saidH559 unto meH589, SolomonH8010 thy sonH1121, he shall buildH1129 my houseH1004 and my courts: for I have chosenH977 him to be my sonH1121, and I will be his fatherH1.
