Revised Version 1895
Chronicles 14:8-16
And when the PhilistinesH6430 heardH8085 that DavidH1732 was anointedH4886 kingH4428 over allH3605 IsraelH3478, allH3605 the PhilistinesH6430 wentH3318 upH5927 to seekH1245 DavidH1732: and DavidH1732 heardH8085 of it, and wentH3318 outH3318 againstH5921 them.
NowH935 the PhilistinesH6430 had comeH935 and madeH6584 a raidH6584 in the valleyH6010 of RephaimH7497.
And DavidH1732 inquiredH7592 of GodH430, sayingH559, Shall I goH5927 upH5927 againstH5921 the PhilistinesH6430? and wilt thou deliverH5414 them intoH5921 mine handH3027? And the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto him, GoH5927 upH5927; for I will deliverH5414 them intoH5921 thine handH3027.
SoH3651 they cameH5927 upH5927 to Baal-perazimH1188, and DavidH1732 smoteH5221 them there; and DavidH1732 saidH559, GodH430 hath brokenH6555 mine enemiesH341 by mine handH3027, like the breachH6556 of watersH4325. Therefore they calledH7121 the nameH8034 of that placeH4725 Baal-perazimH1188.
And they leftH5800 their godsH430 there; and DavidH1732 gaveH559 commandment, and they were burnedH8313 with fireH784.
And the PhilistinesH6430 yet againH5750 madeH6584 a raidH6584 in the valleyH6010.
And DavidH1732 inquiredH7592 againH5750 of GodH430; and GodH430 saidH559 unto him, Thou shalt notH3808 goH935 upH5927 afterH310 them: turnH5437 awayH310 from them, and comeH935 uponH5921 them over againstH5921 the mulberry treesH1057.
And it shall be, when thou hearest the soundH6963 of marching in the topsH7218 of the mulberry treesH1057, that then thou shalt goH3318 outH3318 to battleH4421: for GodH430 is goneH3318 outH3318 beforeH6440 thee to smiteH5221 the hostH4264 of the PhilistinesH6430;
And DavidH1732 didH6213 as GodH430 commandedH6680 him: and they smoteH5221 the hostH4264 of the PhilistinesH6430 from GibeonH1391 evenH5704 to GezerH1507.
