21Then Zebahזֶ֣בַחZe.vachH2078and Zalmunnaוְצַלְמֻנָּ֗עve.tzal.mu.Na'H6759saidוַיֹּ֜אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Riseק֤וּםkumH6965thou, and fallוּפְגַע־u.fe.ga'-H6293upon us: for as the manכָאִ֖ישׁkha.'IshH376is, so ishis strengthגְּבוּרָת֑וֹge.vu.ra.ToH1369.And Gideonגִּדְע֗וֹןgid.'onH1439aroseוַיָּ֣קָםvai.Ya.komH6965,and slewוַֽיַּהֲרֹג֙vai.ya.ha.RogH2026Zebahזֶ֣בַחZe.vachH2078and Zalmunnaצַלְמֻנָּ֔עtzal.mu.Na'H6759,and took awayוַיִּקַּח֙vai.yi.KachH3947the ornamentsהַשַּׂ֣הֲרֹנִ֔יםha.Sa.ha.ro.NimH7720that wereon their camels’גְמַלֵּיהֶֽם׃ge.ma.lei.HemH1581necksבְּצַוְּארֵ֥יbe.tza.ve.ReiH6677.

22Then the menאִֽישׁ־'ish-H376of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478saidוַיֹּאמְר֤וּvai.yo.me.RuH559unto Gideonגִּדְע֔וֹןgid.'onH1439,Ruleמְשָׁל־me.shol-H4910thou over us, both thou, and thy sonבִּנְךָ֖bin.KhaH1121,and thy son’sבֶּן־ben-H1121sonבְּנֶ֑ךָbe.Ne.khaH1121also: for thou hast deliveredהוֹשַׁעְתָּ֖נוּho.sha'.Ta.nuH3467us from the handמִיַּ֥דmi.YadH3027of Midianמִדְיָֽן׃mid.YanH4080.

23And Gideonגִּדְע֔וֹןgid.'onH1439saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto them, I will not ruleאֶמְשֹׁ֤ל'em.SholH4910over you, neither shall my sonבְּנִ֖יbe.NiH1121ruleיִמְשֹׁ֥לyim.SholH4910over you: the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068shall ruleיִמְשֹׁ֥לyim.SholH4910over you.

24And Gideonגִּדְע֗וֹןgid.'onH1439saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto them, I would desireאֶשְׁאֲלָ֤ה'esh.'a.LahH7592a requestשְׁאֵלָ֔הshe.'e.LahH7596of you, that ye would giveוּתְנוּ־u.te.nu-H5414me every manאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376the earringsנֶ֣זֶםNe.zemH5141of his preyשְׁלָל֑וֹshe.la.LoH7998. (For they had goldenזָהָב֙za.HavH2091earringsנִזְמֵ֤יniz.MeiH5141, because they wereIshmaelitesיִשְׁמְעֵאלִ֖יםyish.me.'e.LimH3459.)

25And they answeredוַיֹּאמְר֖וּvai.yo.me.RuH559,We will willinglyנָת֣וֹןna.TonH5414giveנִתֵּ֑ןni.TenH5414them.And they spreadוַֽיִּפְרְשׂוּ֙vai.yif.re.SuH6566a garmentהַשִּׂמְלָ֔הha.sim.LahH8071,and did castוַיַּשְׁלִ֣יכוּvai.yash.Li.khuH7993therein every manאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376the earringsנֶ֥זֶםNe.zemH5141of his preyשְׁלָלֽוֹ׃she.la.LoH7998.

26And the weightמִשְׁקַ֞לmish.KalH4948of the goldenהַזָּהָב֙ha.za.HavH2091earringsנִזְמֵ֤יniz.MeiH5141that he requestedשָׁאָ֔לsha.'AlH7592was a thousandאֶ֥לֶף'E.lefH505and sevenוּשְׁבַע־u.she.va'-H7651hundredמֵא֖וֹתme.'otH3967shekelsof goldזָהָ֑בza.HavH2091;beside ornamentsהַשַּׂהֲרֹנִ֨יםha.sa.ha.ro.NimH7720,and collarsוְהַנְּטִפ֜וֹתve.ha.ne.ti.FotH5188,and purpleהָאַרְגָּמָ֗ןha.'ar.ga.ManH713raimentוּבִגְדֵ֣יu.vig.DeiH899that wason the kingsמַלְכֵ֣יmal.KheiH4428of Midianמִדְיָ֔ןmid.YanH4080,and beside the chainsהָ֣עֲנָק֔וֹתha.'a.na.KotH6060that wereabout their camels’גְמַלֵּיהֶֽם׃ge.ma.lei.HemH1581necksבְּצַוְּארֵ֥יbe.tza.ve.ReiH6677.
