5Thus the Jewsהַיְּהוּדִים֙hai.ye.hu.DimH3064smoteוַיַּכּ֤וּvai.ya.KuH5221all their enemiesאֹ֣יְבֵיהֶ֔ם'o.ye.vei.HemH341with the strokeמַכַּת־ma.kat-H4347of the swordחֶ֥רֶבChe.revH2719,and slaughterוְהֶ֖רֶגve.He.regH2027,and destructionוְאַבְדָ֑ןve.'av.DanH12,and didוַיַּֽעֲשׂ֥וּvai.ya.'a.SuH6213what they wouldכִּרְצוֹנָֽם׃kir.tzo.NamH7522unto those that hatedבְשֹׂנְאֵיהֶ֖םve.so.ne.'ei.HemH8130them.

6And in Shushanוּבְשׁוּשַׁ֣ןu.ve.shu.ShanH7800the palaceהַבִּירָ֗הha.bi.RahH1002the Jewsהַיְּהוּדִים֙hai.ye.hu.DimH3064slewהָרְג֤וּha.re.GuH2026and destroyedוְאַבֵּ֔דve.'a.BedH6fiveחֲמֵ֥שׁcha.MeshH2568hundredמֵא֖וֹתme.'otH3967menאִֽישׁ׃'IshH376.

7And Parshandathaפַּרְשַׁנְדָּ֛תָאpar.shan.Da.ta'H6577,and Dalphonדַּֽלְפ֖וֹןdal.FonH1813,and Aspathaאַסְפָּֽתָא׃'as.Pa.ta'H630,

8And Porathaפּוֹרָ֛תָאpo.Ra.ta'H6334,and Adaliaאֲדַלְיָ֖א'a.dal.Ya'H118,and Aridathaאֲרִידָֽתָא׃'a.ri.Da.ta'H743,

9And Parmashtaפַּרְמַ֙שְׁתָּא֙par.Mash.ta'H6534,and Arisaiאֲרִיסַ֔י'a.ri.SaiH747,and Aridaiאֲרִדַ֖י'a.ri.DaiH742,and Vajezathaוַיְזָֽתָא׃vay.Za.ta'H2055,

10The tenעֲ֠שֶׂרֶת'A.se.retH6235sonsבְּנֵ֨יbe.NeiH1121of Hamanהָמָ֧ןha.ManH2001the sonבֶּֽן־ben-H1121of Hammedathaהַמְּדָ֛תָאha.me.Da.ta'H4099,the enemyצֹרֵ֥רtzo.RerH6887of the Jewsהַיְּהוּדִ֖יםhai.ye.hu.DimH3064,slewהָרָ֑גוּha.Ra.guH2026they; but on the spoilוּבַ֨בִּזָּ֔הu.Vab.bi.ZahH961laidשָׁלְח֖וּsha.le.ChuH7971they not their handיָדָֽם׃ya.DamH3027.

11On that dayבַּיּ֣וֹםbai.YomH3117the numberמִסְפַּ֧רmis.ParH4557of those that were slainהַֽהֲרוּגִ֛יםha.ha.ru.GimH2026in Shushanבְּשׁוּשַׁ֥ןbe.shu.ShanH7800the palaceהַבִּירָ֖הha.bi.RahH1002was broughtבָּ֣אba'H935beforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the kingהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ סha.Me.lekhH4428.
