10Then Amaziahאֲמַצְיָה֙'a.matz.YahH558the priestכֹּהֵ֣ןko.HenH3548of Beth–elH1008sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֗חvai.yish.LachH7971to Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֥םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,Amosעָמ֗וֹסa.MosH5986hath conspiredקָשַׁ֨רka.SharH7194against thee in the midstבְּקֶ֙רֶב֙be.Ke.revH7130of the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478:the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776is not ableתוּכַ֣לtu.KhalH3201to bearלְהָכִ֖ילle.ha.KhilH3557all his wordsדְּבָרָֽיו׃de.va.RavH1697.
11For thus Amosעָמ֔וֹסa.MosH5986saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559,Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֑םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379shall dieיָמ֣וּתya.MutH4191by the swordבַּחֶ֖רֶבba.Che.revH2719,and Israelוְיִ֨שְׂרָאֵ֔לve.Yis.ra.'ElH3478shall surelyגָּלֹ֥הga.LohH1540be led away captiveיִגְלֶ֖הyig.LehH1540out of their own landאַדְמָתֽוֹ׃ ס'ad.ma.ToH127.
12Also Amaziahאֲמַצְיָה֙'a.matz.YahH558saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Amosעָמ֔וֹסa.MosH5986,O thou seerחֹזֶ֕הcho.ZehH2374,goH3212,flee thee awayבְּרַח־be.rach-H1272into the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063,and there eatוֶאֱכָל־ve.'e.khol-H398breadלֶ֔חֶםLe.chemH3899,and prophesyתִּנָּבֵֽא׃ti.na.Ve'H5012there:
14Then answeredוַיַּ֤עַןvai.Ya.'anH6030Amosעָמוֹס֙'a.mOsH5986,and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Amaziahאֲמַצְיָ֔ה'a.matz.YahH558, I wasno prophetנָבִ֣יאna.Vi'H5030, neither wasI a prophet’sנָבִ֖יאna.Vi'H5030sonבֶן־ven-H1121; but I wasan herdmanבוֹקֵ֥רvo.KerH951,and a gathererוּבוֹלֵ֥סu.vo.LesH1103of sycomore fruitשִׁקְמִֽים׃shik.MimH8256:
15And the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068tookוַיִּקָּחֵ֣נִיvai.yi.ka.Che.niH3947me as I followedמֵאַחֲרֵ֖יme.'a.cha.ReiH310the flockהַצֹּ֑אןha.TzonH6629,and the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto me, GoH3212,prophesyהִנָּבֵ֖אhi.na.Ve'H5012unto my peopleעַמִּ֥י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.
16Now therefore hearשְׁמַ֣עshe.Ma'H8085thou the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068:Thou sayestאֹמֵ֗ר'o.MerH559,Prophesyתִנָּבֵא֙ti.na.Ve'H5012not against Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and dropתַטִּ֖יףta.TifH5197not thy wordagainst the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Isaacיִשְׂחָֽק׃yis.ChakH3446.
17Therefore thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068;Thy wifeאִשְׁתְּךָ֞'ish.te.KhaH802shall be an harlotתִּזְנֶה֙tiz.NehH2181in the cityבָּעִ֤ירba.'IrH5892,and thy sonsוּבָנֶ֤יךָu.va.Nei.khaH1121and thy daughtersוּבְנֹתֶ֙יךָ֙u.ve.no.Tei.khaH1323shall fallיִפֹּ֔לוּyi.Po.luH5307by the swordבַּחֶ֣רֶבba.Che.revH2719,and thy landוְאַדְמָתְךָ֖ve.'ad.ma.te.KhaH127shall be dividedתְּחֻלָּ֑קte.chu.LakH2505by lineבַּחֶ֣בֶלba.Che.velH2256;and thou shalt dieתָּמ֔וּתta.MutH4191inH5921a pollutedטְמֵאָה֙te.me.'AhH2931landאֲדָמָ֤ה'a.da.MahH127:and Israelוְיִ֨שְׂרָאֵ֔לve.Yis.ra.'ElH3478shall surelyגָּלֹ֥הga.LohH1540go into captivityיִגְלֶ֖הyig.LehH1540forth of his landאַדְמָתֽוֹ׃ ס'ad.ma.ToH127.
