8And Hiramחִירָם֙chi.RamH2438sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֤חvai.yish.LachH7971to Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֣הshe.lo.MohH8010,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559,I have consideredשָׁמַ֕עְתִּיsha.Ma'.tiH8085the things which thou sentestשָׁלַ֖חְתָּsha.Lach.taH7971to me for: andI will doאֶֽעֱשֶׂה֙'e.'e.SehH6213all thy desireחֶפְצְךָ֔chef.tze.KhaH2656concerning timberבַּעֲצֵ֥יba.'a.TzeiH6086of cedarאֲרָזִ֖ים'a.ra.ZimH730,and concerning timberוּבַעֲצֵ֥יu.va.'a.TzeiH6086of firבְרוֹשִֽׁים׃ve.ro.ShimH1265.

9My servantsעֲ֠בָדַי'A.va.daiH5650shall bring themdownיֹרִ֨דוּyo.Ri.duH3381from Lebanonהַלְּבָנ֜וֹןha.le.va.NonH3844unto the seaH3220:and I will conveyאֲשִׂימֵ֨ם'a.si.MemH7760them by seaH3220in floatsדֹּבְר֤וֹתdoe.RotH1702unto the placeהַמָּק֞וֹםha.ma.KomH4725that thou shalt appointתִּשְׁלַ֥חtish.LachH7971me, and will cause them to be dischargedוְנִפַּצְתִּ֥יםve.ni.patz.TimH5310there, and thou shalt receiveתִשָּׂ֑אti.Sa'H5375them:and thou shalt accomplishתַּעֲשֶׂ֣הta.'a.SehH6213my desireחֶפְצִ֔יchef.TziH2656,in givingH5414foodלֶ֥חֶםLe.chemH3899for my householdבֵּיתִֽי׃bei.TiH1004.

10So Hiramחִיר֜וֹםchi.RomH2438gaveנֹתֵ֣ןno.TenH5414SolomonH8010cedarאֲרָזִ֛ים'a.ra.ZimH730treesעֲצֵ֧י'a.TzeiH6086and firבְרוֹשִׁ֖יםve.ro.ShimH1265treesוַעֲצֵ֥יva.'a.TzeiH6086according toall his desireחֶפְצֽוֹ׃chef.TzoH2656.

11And Solomonוּשְׁלֹמֹה֩u.she.lo.MohH8010gaveנָתַ֨ןna.TanH5414Hiramלְחִירָ֜םle.chi.RamH2438twentyעֶשְׂרִים֩'es.RimH6242thousandאֶ֨לֶף'E.lefH505measuresכֹּ֤רkorH3734of wheatחִטִּים֙chi.TimH2406forfoodמַכֹּ֣לֶתma.Ko.letH4361to his householdלְבֵית֔וֹle.vei.ToH1004,and twentyוְעֶשְׂרִ֥יםve.'es.RimH6242measuresכֹּ֖רkorH3734of pureכָּתִ֑יתka.TitH3795oilשֶׁ֣מֶןShe.menH8081:thus gaveיִתֵּ֧ןyi.TenH5414Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֛הshe.lo.MohH8010to Hiramלְחִירָ֖םle.chi.RamH2438yearשָׁנָ֥הsha.NahH8141by yearבְשָׁנָֽה׃ פve.sha.NahH8141.

12And the Lordוַיהוָ֗הva.Yah.wehH3068gaveנָתַ֤ןna.TanH5414Solomonלִשְׁלֹמֹ֔הlish.lo.MohH8010wisdomחָכְמָה֙chokh.mahH2451,as he promisedH1696him: and there was peaceשָׁלֹ֗םsha.LomH7965between Hiramחִירָם֙chi.RamH2438and Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֔הshe.lo.MohH8010;and they twoH8147madeוַיִּכְרְת֥וּvai.yikh.re.TuH3772a leagueבְרִ֖יתve.RitH1285togetherH8147.

13And kingהַמֶּ֧לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֛הshe.lo.MohH8010raisedוַיַּ֨עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927a levyמַ֖סmasH4522out of all Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478;and the levyהַמַּ֔סha.MasH4522was thirtyשְׁלֹשִׁ֥יםshe.lo.ShimH7970thousandאֶ֖לֶף'E.lefH505menאִֽישׁ׃'IshH376.

14And he sentוַיִּשְׁלָחֵ֣םvai.yish.la.ChemH7971them to Lebanonלְבָנ֗וֹנָהle.va.No.nahH3844,tenעֲשֶׂ֨רֶת'a.Se.retH6235thousandאֲלָפִ֤ים'a.la.FimH505a monthבַּחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ba.Cho.deshH2320by coursesחֲלִיפ֔וֹתcha.li.FotH2487:a monthחֹ֚דֶשׁCho.deshH2320they were in Lebanonבַלְּבָנ֔וֹןva.le.va.NonH3844, andtwoשְׁנַ֥יִםshe.Na.yimH8147monthsחֳדָשִׁ֖יםcho.da.ShimH2320at homeבְּבֵית֑וֹbe.vei.ToH1004:and Adoniramוַאֲדֹנִירָ֖םva.'a.do.ni.RamH141wasover the levyהַמַּֽס׃ סha.MasH4522.

15And SolomonH8010had threescore and tenשִׁבְעִ֥יםshiv.'ImH7657thousandאֶ֖לֶף'E.lefH505that bareנֹשֵׂ֣אno.Se'H5375burdensסַבָּ֑לsa.BalH5449,and fourscoreוּשְׁמֹנִ֥יםu.she.mo.NimH8084thousandאֶ֖לֶף'E.lefH505hewersחֹצֵ֥בcho.TzevH2672in the mountainsבָּהָֽר׃ba.HarH2022;

16Beside the chiefמִשָּׂרֵ֨יmi.sa.ReiH8269of Solomon’sH8010officersהַנִּצָּבִ֤יםha.ni.tza.VimH5324which wereover the workהַמְּלָאכָ֔הha.me.la.KhahH4399,threeשְׁלֹ֥שֶׁתshe.Lo.shetH7969thousandאֲלָפִ֖ים'a.la.FimH505and threeוּשְׁלֹ֣שׁu.she.LoshH7969hundredמֵא֑וֹתme.'otH3967,which ruledהָרֹדִ֣יםha.ro.DimH7287over the peopleבָּעָ֔םba.'AmH5971that wroughtהָעֹשִׂ֖יםha.'o.SimH6213in the workבַּמְּלָאכָֽה׃ba.me.la.KhahH4399.

17And the kingהַמֶּ֡לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428commandedוַיְצַ֣וvay.TzavH6680,and they broughtוַיַּסִּעוּ֩vai.ya.si.'UH5265greatגְּדֹל֜וֹתge.do.LotH1419stonesאֲבָנִ֨ים'a.va.NimH68,costlyיְקָר֛וֹתye.ka.RotH3368stonesאֲבָנִ֧ים'a.va.NimH68, andhewedגָזִֽית׃ga.ZitH1496stonesאַבְנֵ֥י'av.NeiH68,to lay the foundationלְיַסֵּ֥דle.ya.SedH3245of the houseH1004.

18And Solomon’sשְׁלֹמֹ֛הshe.lo.MohH8010buildersבֹּנֵ֧יbo.NeiH1129and Hiram’sחִיר֖וֹםchi.RomH2438buildersוּבֹנֵ֥יu.vo.NeiH1129did hewוַֽיִּפְסְל֞וּvai.yif.se.LuH6458them,and the stonesquarersוְהַגִּבְלִ֑יםve.ha.giv.LimH1382:so they preparedוַיָּכִ֛ינוּvai.ya.Khi.nuH3559timberהָעֵצִ֥יםha.'e.TzimH6086and stonesוְהָאֲבָנִ֖יםve.ha.'a.va.NimH68to buildלִבְנ֥וֹתliv.NotH1129the houseהַבָּֽיִת׃ פha.Ba.yitH1004.
