19So he departedH3212thence, and foundוַיִּמְצָ֞אvai.yim.Tza'H4672Elishaאֱלִישָׁ֤ע'e.li.Sha'H477the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Shaphatשָׁפָט֙sha.FatH8202, who wasplowingחֹרֵ֔שׁcho.ReshH2790withtwelveשְׁנֵים־ עָשָׂ֤רshe.neim- 'a.SarH6240 H8147yokeצְמָדִים֙tze.ma.DimH6776of oxenbeforeלְפָנָ֔יוle.fa.NavH6440him, and he with the twelfthבִּשְׁנֵ֣ים הֶעָשָׂ֑רbish.Neim he.'a.SarH6240 H8147:and Elijahאֵלִיָּ֙הוּ֙'e.li.Ya.huH452passedוַיַּעֲבֹ֤רvai.ya.'a.VorH5674by him, and castוַיַּשְׁלֵ֥ךְvai.yash.LekhH7993his mantleאַדַּרְתּ֖וֹ'a.dar.ToH155upon him.

20And he leftוַיַּעֲזֹ֣בvai.ya.'a.ZoH5800the oxenהַבָּקָ֗רha.ba.KarH1241,and ranוַיָּ֙רָץ֙vai.Ya.rotzH7323afterאַחֲרֵ֣י'a.cha.ReiH310Elijahאֵֽלִיָּ֔הוּ'e.li.Ya.huH452,and saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Let me, I pray thee, kissאֶשְּׁקָה־'e.she.kah-H5401my fatherלְאָבִ֣יle.'a.ViH1and my motherוּלְאִמִּ֔יu.le.'i.MiH517, and thenI will followאַחֲרֶ֑יךָ'a.cha.Rei.khaH310 H3212thee. And he saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, Go backH3212againשׁ֔וּבShuvH7725:for what have I doneעָשִׂ֖יתִי'a.Si.tiH6213to thee?

21And he returned backוַיָּ֨שָׁבvai.Ya.shovH7725from himמֵאַחֲרָ֜יוme.'a.cha.RavH310,and tookוַיִּקַּ֣חvai.yi.KachH3947a yokeצֶ֧מֶדTze.medH6776of oxenהַבָּקָ֣רha.ba.KarH1241,and slewוַיִּזְבָּחֵ֗הוּvai.yiz.ba.Che.huH2076them, and boiledבִּשְּׁלָ֣םbi.she.LamH1310their fleshהַבָּשָׂ֔רha.ba.SarH1320with the instrumentsוּבִכְלִ֤יu.vikh.LiH3627of the oxenהַבָּקָר֙ha.ba.KarH1241,and gaveוַיִּתֵּ֥ןvai.yi.TenH5414unto the peopleלָעָ֖םla.'AmH5971,and they did eatוַיֹּאכֵ֑לוּvai.yo.Khe.luH398.Then he aroseוַיָּ֗קָםvai.Ya.komH6965,and wentH3212afterאַחֲרֵ֥י'a.cha.ReiH310Elijahאֵלִיָּ֖הוּ'e.li.Ya.huH452,and ministeredוַיְשָׁרְתֵֽהוּ׃ פvay.sha.re.Te.huH8334unto him.
