6So Baashaבַּעְשָׁא֙ba'.Sha'H1201sleptוַיִּשְׁכַּ֤בvai.yish.KavH7901with his fathersאֲבֹתָ֔יו'a.vo.TavH1,and was buriedוַיִּקָּבֵ֖רvai.yi.ka.VerH6912in Tirzahבְּתִרְצָ֑הbe.tir.TzahH8656:and Elahאֵלָ֥ה'e.LahH425his sonבְנ֖וֹve.NoH1121reignedוַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְvai.yim.LokhH4427in his stead.

7And also by the handבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027of the prophetהַנָּבִ֗יאha.na.Vi'H5030Jehuיֵה֨וּאye.Hu'H3058the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Hananiחֲנָ֜נִיcha.Na.niH2607came the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֡הYah.wehH3068against Baashaבַּעְשָׁ֨אba'.Sha'H1201,and against his houseבֵּית֜וֹbei.ToH1004,even for all the evilהָרָעָ֣ה׀ha.ra.'AhH7451that he didעָשָׂ֣ה׀'a.SahH6213in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֣יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,in provoking him to angerלְהַכְעִיסוֹ֙le.hakh.'i.SoH3707with the workבְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣הbe.ma.'a.SehH4639of his handsיָדָ֔יוya.DavH3027,in being like the houseכְּבֵ֣יתke.VeitH1004of Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֑םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379;and because he killedהִכָּ֖הhi.KahH5221him.

8In the twentyבִּשְׁנַ֨ת עֶשְׂרִ֤יםbish.Nat 'es.RimH8141 H6242and sixthוָשֵׁשׁ֙va.SheshH8337yearשָׁנָ֔הsha.NahH8141of Asaלְאָסָ֖אle.'a.Sa'H609kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063began Elahאֵלָ֨ה'e.LahH425the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Baashaבַּעְשָׁ֧אba'.Sha'H1201to reignמָ֠לַךְMa.lakhH4427over Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478in Tirzahבְּתִרְצָ֖הbe.tir.TzahH8656,two yearsשְׁנָתָֽיִם׃she.na.Ta.yimH8141.

9And his servantעַבְדּ֣וֹav.DoH5650Zimriזִמְרִ֔יzim.RiH2174,captainשַׂ֖רsarH8269of halfמַחֲצִ֣יתma.cha.TzitH4276hischariotsהָרָ֑כֶבha.Ra.khevH7393,conspiredוַיִּקְשֹׁ֤רvai.yik.ShorH7194against him, as he was in Tirzahבְתִרְצָה֙ve.tir.TzahH8656,drinkingשֹׁתֶ֣הsho.TehH8354himself drunkשִׁכּ֔וֹרshi.KorH7910in the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Arzaאַרְצָ֔א'ar.Tza'H777steward of hishouseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004in Tirzahבְּתִרְצָֽה׃be.tir.TzahH8656.

10And Zimriזִמְרִי֙zim.RiH2174went inוַיָּבֹ֤אvai.ya.Vo'H935and smoteוַיַּכֵּ֣הוּvai.ya.Ke.huH5221him, and killedוַיְמִיתֵ֔הוּvay.mi.Te.huH4191him, in the twentyעֶשְׂרִ֣ים'es.RimH6242and seventhוָשֶׁ֔בַעva.She.va'H7651yearבִּשְׁנַת֙bish.NatH8141of Asaלְאָסָ֖אle.'a.Sa'H609kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063,and reignedוַיִּמְלֹ֖ךְvai.yim.LokhH4427in his stead.

11And it came to pass, when he began to reignבְמָלְכ֜וֹve.ma.le.KhoH4427,as soon as he satכְּשִׁבְתּ֣וֹke.shiv.ToH3427on his throneכִּסְא֗וֹkis.'OH3678, thathe slewהִכָּה֙hi.KahH5221all the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Baashaבַּעְשָׁ֔אba'.Sha'H1201:he leftהִשְׁאִ֥ירhish.'IrH7604him not one that pissethמַשְׁתִּ֣יןmash.TinH8366against a wallבְּקִ֑ירbe.KirH7023,neither of his kinsfolksוְגֹאֲלָ֖יוve.go.'a.LavH1350,nor of his friendsוְרֵעֵֽהוּ׃ve.re.'E.huH7453.

12Thus did Zimriזִמְרִ֔יzim.RiH2174destroyוַיַּשְׁמֵ֣דvai.yash.MedH8045all the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Baashaבַּעְשָׁ֑אba'.Sha'H1201,according to the wordכִּדְבַ֤רkid.VarH1697of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,which he spakeדִּבֶּ֣רdi.BerH1696against Baashaבַּעְשָׁ֔אba'.Sha'H1201byבְּיַ֖דbe.YadH3027Jehuיֵה֥וּאye.Hu'H3058the prophetהַנָּבִֽיא׃ha.na.Vi'H5030,

13For all the sinsחַטֹּ֣אותcha.TotH2403of Baashaבַּעְשָׁ֔אba'.Sha'H1201,and the sinsוְחַטֹּ֖אותve.cha.TotH2403of Elahאֵלָ֣ה'e.LahH425his sonבְנ֑וֹve.NoH1121,by which they sinnedחָטְא֗וּcha.te.'UH2398,and by which they made Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478to sinהֶחֱטִ֙יאוּ֙he.che.Ti.'uH2398,in provoking the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478to angerלְהַכְעִ֗יסle.hakh.'IsH3707with their vanitiesבְּהַבְלֵיהֶֽם׃be.hav.lei.HemH1892.
