21And he criedוַיִּקְרָ֞אvai.yik.Ra'H7121unto the manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֗יםha.'E.lo.HimH430that cameבָּ֤אba'H935from Judahמִֽיהוּדָה֙mi.hu.DahH3063,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559,Thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,Forasmuch asיַ֗עַןYa.'anH3282thou hast disobeyedמָרִ֙יתָ֙ma.Ri.taH4784the mouthפִּ֣יpiH6310of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,and hast not keptשָׁמַ֙רְתָּ֙sha.Mar.taH8104the commandmentהַמִּצְוָ֔הha.mitz.VahH4687which the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃'e.lo.Hei.khaH430commandedצִוְּךָ֖tzi.ve.KhaH6680thee,

22But camest backוַתָּ֗שָׁבva.Ta.shovH7725,and hast eatenוַתֹּ֤אכַלva.To.khalH398breadלֶ֙חֶם֙le.chemH3899and drunkוַתֵּ֣שְׁתְּva.Te.shetH8354waterמַ֔יִםMa.yimH4325in the placeבַּמָּקוֹם֙ba.ma.kOmH4725, of the which the Lorddid sayדִּבֶּ֣רdi.BerH1696to thee, Eatתֹּ֥אכַלTo.khalH398no breadלֶ֖חֶםLe.chemH3899,and drinkתֵּ֣שְׁתְּTe.shetH8354no waterמָ֑יִםMa.yimH4325;thy carcaseנִבְלָתְךָ֖niv.la.te.KhaH5038shall not comeתָב֥וֹאta.Vo'H935unto the sepulchreקֶ֥בֶרKe.verH6913of thy fathersאֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃'a.vo.Tei.khaH1.

23And it came to pass, afterאַחֲרֵ֛י'a.cha.ReiH310he had eatenאָכְל֥וֹ'a.khe.LoH398breadלֶ֖חֶםLe.chemH3899,and afterוְאַחֲרֵ֣יve.'a.cha.ReiH310he had drunkשְׁתוֹת֑וֹshe.to.ToH8354,that he saddledוַיַּחֲבָשׁ־vai.ya.cha.vosh-H2280for him the assהַחֲמ֔וֹרha.cha.MorH2543, to wit,for the prophetלַנָּבִ֖יאla.na.Vi'H5030whom he had brought backהֱשִׁיבֽוֹ׃he.shi.VoH7725.

24And when he was goneH3212,a lionאַרְיֵ֛ה'ar.YehH738metוַיִּמְצָאֵ֧הוּvai.yim.tza.'E.huH4672him by the wayבַּדֶּ֖רֶךְba.De.rekhH1870,and slewוַיְמִיתֵ֑הוּvay.mi.Te.huH4191him: and his carcaseנִבְלָתוֹ֙niv.la.ToH5038was castמֻשְׁלֶ֣כֶתmush.Le.khetH7993in the wayבַּדֶּ֔רֶךְba.De.rekhH1870,and the assוְהַחֲמוֹר֙ve.ha.cha.mOrH2543stoodעֹמֵ֣ד'o.MedH5975byH681it, the lionוְהָ֣אַרְיֵ֔הve.Ha.'ar.YehH738also stoodעֹמֵ֖ד'o.MedH5975by the carcaseהַנְּבֵלָֽה׃ha.ne.ve.LahH5038.
