Context of Galatians 3:25
23But before God showed us the way of faith, the Law had authority over us. God's Law kept us safe, until God showed us that we must believe in Christ. 24In that way, God's Law was like our guide. It kept us safe until Christ came. Then God could accept us as right because we trusted Christ. But now that the way of faith in Christ has come, we do not need God's Law to keep us safe any longer. 26All of you are God's children because you believe in Christ Jesus. 27They baptized you as believers in Christ. That means that you have put on Christ, like someone who puts on new clothes.

Now you are free to belong to someone else. You belong to Christ, whom God raised up after his death. As a result, we can live in a good way that will please God.
- Hebrews 7:11The Levite priests were a necessary part of God's Law for Israel's people. But those priests could not make the people completely right with God. If that had been possible, the Levite priests could have continued their work. But we see that God has chosen a different kind of priest to serve him. That priest is not someone from Aaron's family, as the Levites were. Instead, he is a priest in the same way that Melchizedek was God's priest.

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 25But, after that faith is come - When Christ was manifested in the flesh, and the Gospel was preached, we were no longer under the pedagogue; we came to Christ, learned of him, became wise unto salvation, had our fruit unto holiness, and the end eternal life. It is worthy of remark that, as ̔ , the Law, is used by St. Paul to signify, not only the law, properly so called, but the whole of the Mosaic economy, so ̔ , the Faith, is used by him to express, not…Read the comment

- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 23-25Verses 23-25 The law did not teach a living, saving knowledge; but, by its rites and ceremonies, especially by its sacrifices, it pointed to Christ, that they might be justified by faith. And thus it was, as the word properly signifies, a servant, to lead to Christ, as children are led to school by servants who have the care of them, that they might be more fully taught by Him the true way of justification and salvation, which is only by faith in Christ…Read the comment

- Jamieson–Fausset–Brown Commentary · v. 2525. "But now that faith is come," &c. Moses the lawgiver cannot bring us into the heavenly Canaan though he can bring us to the border of it.
