Context of John 12:16

14And Jesus, when he had found a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written, 15Fear not, daughter of Zion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on a donkey’s colt. These things his disciples understood not at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written concerning him, and that they had done these things to him. 17The people therefore that were with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bore witness. 18For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.
