Revised Version 1895
Hosea 2:1-5
1SayH559 ye unto your brethren, Ammi; and to your sisters, Ruhamah.
2Plead with your mother, plead; for sheH3588 is notH3588 my wife, neither am I herH3588 husband: and letH7760 herH3588 putH7760 awayH4480 herH3588 whoredoms from herH3588 face, and herH3588 adulteries from betweenH4480 herH3588 breasts;
3lest I strip herH559 naked, and set herH559 as in the day that she was born, and make herH559 as a wilderness, and set herH559 like a dry land, and slay herH559 with thirst;
4YeaH3588, uponH802 herH802 children will I have noH3808 mercy; for they be children of whoredom.
5for their mother hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done shamefully: for she said, I will go afterH3117 my lovers, that giveH3205 meH7760 my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.
