Daniel 2:24-36

Therefore DanielH1841 wentH236 in unto AriochH746, whomH1768 the kingH4430 had appointedH4483 to destroyH7 the wiseH2445 menH2445 of BabylonH895: he wentH236 and saidH560 thusH3652 unto him; DestroyH7 not the wiseH2445 menH2445 of BabylonH895: bringH5954 meH6925 in beforeH6925 the kingH4430, and I will shew unto the kingH4430 the interpretationH6591.

Then AriochH746 broughtH5954 in DanielH1841 beforeH6925 the kingH4430 in hasteH927, and saidH560 thusH3652 unto him, I have foundH7912 a manH1400 of the childrenH1123 of the captivity of JudahH3061, that will makeH3046 knownH3046 unto the kingH4430 the interpretationH6591.

The kingH4430 answeredH6032 and saidH560 to DanielH1841, whoseH1768 nameH8036 was BelteshazzarH1096, Art thou ableH3546 to makeH3046 knownH3046 unto me the dreamH2493 whichH1768 I have seenH2370, and the interpretationH6591 thereof?

DanielH1841 answeredH6032 beforeH6925 the kingH4430, and saidH560, The secret whichH1768 the kingH4430 hath demandedH560 canH1768 neitherH3809 wiseH2445 menH2445, enchanters, magiciansH2749, norH3809 soothsayers, shew unto the kingH4430;

but there is a GodH426 in heavenH8065 that revealeth secrets, and he hath madeH3046 knownH3046 to the kingH4430 NebuchadnezzarH5020 whatH4101 shall be in the latterH320 daysH3118. Thy dreamH2493, and the visionsH2376 of thy headH7217 upon thy bedH4903, are theseH1836:

as for thee, O kingH4430, thy thoughtsH7476 came into thy mind upon thy bedH4903, whatH4101 should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth secrets hath madeH3046 knownH3046 to thee whatH4101 shall come to pass.

But as for me, this secret is notH3809 revealedH1541 to me for anyH3606 wisdomH2452 that I have moreH4481 thanH4481 anyH3606 livingH2417, but to the intent that the interpretationH6591 may be madeH3046 knownH3046 to the kingH4430, and that thou mayest knowH3046 the thoughtsH7476 of thy heartH3825.

Thou, O kingH4430, sawest, and beholdH431 a greatH7229 imageH6755. This imageH6755, which was mighty, and whose brightnessH2122 was excellent, stoodH6966 beforeH6903 thee; and the aspect thereof was terrible.

As for this imageH6755, his headH7217 was of fineH2869 goldH1722, his breastH2306 and his armsH1872 of silverH3702, his bellyH4577 and his thighsH3410 of brass,

his legsH8243 of ironH6523, his feetH7271 partH4481 of ironH6523, and partH4481 of clayH2635.

Thou sawest till that a stoneH69 was cutH1505 outH1505 withoutH3809 handsH3028, whichH1768 smote the imageH6755 upon his feetH7271 that were of ironH6523 and clayH2635, and brake them in pieces.

Then was the ironH6523, the clayH2635, the brass, the silverH3702, and the goldH1722, broken in pieces together, and becameH1934 like the chaffH5784 of the summerH7007 threshing-floors; and the windH7308 carriedH5376 them away, that noH3809 placeH1934 was foundH7912 for them: and the stoneH69 that smote the imageH6755 becameH1934 a greatH7229 mountainH2906, and filledH4391 the wholeH3606 earthH772.

This is the dreamH2493; and we will tellH560 the interpretationH6591 thereof beforeH6925 the kingH4430.
