Context of Luke 22:67
65And they said many other bad things against him. 66When it became day, the Jewish leaders met together. The leaders of the priests and the teachers of God's Law were at the meeting. Then other men brought Jesus to stand in front of them. They asked him, ‘Are you the Messiah? If you are, tell us.’ Jesus replied, ‘If I do tell you, you will not believe me. 68I could also ask you a question. But if I do that, you will not answer me. 69But from now on, the Son of Man will be sitting in the most important place. He will be sitting at the right side of the Most Powerful God.’

- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 63-71Verses 63-71 Those that condemned Jesus for a blasphemer, were the vilest blasphemers. He referred them to his second coming, for the full proof of his being the Christ, to their confusion, since they would not admit the proof of it to their conviction. He owns himself to be the Son of God, though he knew he should suffer for it. Upon this they ground his condemnation. Their eyes being blinded, they rush on.
