Context of Exodus 37:7
5Then he put the poles into the rings on the sides of the Ark, to carry the Ark. 6He made an atonement cover of pure gold, two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide. Then he forged two cheruvim of gold, from hammered work, at the two ends of the atonement cover, 8one cheruv at one end, and one cheruv at the other. He made the atonement cover from a single piece with the cheruvim on the two ends. 9So the cheruvim spread out their wings on high, overshadowing the atonement cover with their wings, with their faces to one another, and the faces of the cheruvim toward the atonement cover.
