Revised Version 1895
Ecclesiastes 1:13-17
13And I appliedH5414 my heartH3820 to seekH1875 and to searchH1875 outH5921 by wisdomH2451 concerning allH3605 that is doneH6213 underH8478 heavenH8064: it is a sore travail that GodH430 hath givenH5414 to the sonsH1121 of menH120 to be exercised therewith.
14I have seenH7200 allH3605 the worksH4639 that are doneH6213 underH8478 the sunH8121; and, beholdH2009, allH3605 is vanityH1892 and a strivingH7469 afterH7469 windH7307.
15That which is crookedH5791 cannotH3808 be made straight: and that which is wanting cannotH3808 be numberedH4487.
16I communed with mineH5973 ownH1961 heartH3820, sayingH559, LoH2009, I have gotten meH6440 greatH1431 wisdomH2451 aboveH5921 allH3605 that were beforeH6440 meH6440 in JerusalemH3389: yea, my heartH3820 hath had greatH1431 experienceH7200 of wisdomH2451 and knowledgeH1847.
17And I appliedH5414 my heartH3820 to knowH3045 wisdomH2451, and to knowH3045 madnessH1947 and follyH5531: I perceivedH3045 that this also was a strivingH7475 afterH7475 windH7307.
