Context of Ezekiel 35:7
5“Because you have a long-standing hatred and have delivered Bnei-Yisrael to the power of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time of their final punishment, 6therefore, as I live’—it is a declaration of Adonai—‘I will destine you for blood, and bloodshed will pursue you. Since you did not hate bloodshed, therefore bloodshed will pursue you. I will make Mount Seir an utter desolation. I will cut off from it all who come and go. 8I will fill its mountains with its slain; on your hills, your valleys and all your streams those slain by the sword will fall. 9I will make you everlasting desolations; your cities will not be inhabited. Then you will know that I am Adonai.
