Nehemiah 13:23-30
In thoseH1992 daysH3117 also sawH7200 I the JewsH3064 that had marriedH802 womenH802 of AshdodH796, of AmmonH4125, and of MoabH4125:
and their childrenH1121 spake halfH2677 in the speechH3956 of AshdodH797, and couldH5971 notH369 speakH1696 in the Jews’ languageH3956, but according to the languageH3956 of eachH5971 peopleH5971.
And I contendedH7378 with them, and cursedH7043 them, and smoteH5221 certainH376 of them, and plucked offH5375 their hairH4803, and madeH5414 them swearH7650 by GodH430, saying, Ye shall notH518 giveH5414 your daughtersH1323 unto their sonsH1121, norH518 takeH5375 their daughtersH1323 for your sonsH1121, or for yourselves.
DidH3808 notH3808 SolomonH8010 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 sinH2398 by theseH428 things? yet among manyH7227 nationsH1471 was there noH3808 kingH4428 like him, and he was belovedH157 of his GodH430, and GodH430 madeH5414 him kingH4428 over allH3605 IsraelH3478: neverthelessH1571 evenH1571 him didH3808 strange womenH802 causeH5414 to sinH2398.
Shall weH8085 then hearken unto youH3605 to doH6213 allH3605 this greatH1419 evilH7451, to trespass againstH3605 our GodH430 in marryingH3427 strange womenH802?
And one of the sonsH1121 of JoiadaH3111, the sonH1121 of EliashibH475 the highH1419 priestH3548, was sonH1121 in law to SanballatH5571 the HoroniteH2772: therefore I chased him from meH5921.
RememberH2142 them, O my GodH430, becauseH5921 they have defiledH1352 the priesthoodH3550, and the covenantH1285 of the priesthoodH3550, and of the LevitesH3881.
Thus cleansedH2891 I them from allH3605 strangers, and appointedH5975 wards for the priestsH3548 and for the LevitesH3881, everyH3605 one in his workH4399;
