Revised Version 1895
Nahum 2:5-10
5He remembereth his worthies: they stumble in their march; they make haste to the wall thereof, and the mantelet is prepared.
6The gates of the rivers are opened, and the palace is dissolved.
7And Huzzab is uncovered, she is carried awayH4127, and herH8179 handmaids mourn as with the voice of doves, tabering upon their breasts.
8But NinevehH5324 hath been from of old like a pool of water: yet they flee awayH1540; StandH5324, standH5324, they cryH6963; but none looketh backH5927.
9TakeH5975 ye the spoil of silver, takeH5975 the spoil of gold: for there is noneH369 end of the store, the glory of allH3117 pleasant furniture.
10She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and anguish is in allH3605 loins, and the faces of them allH3605 are waxed pale.
