Malachi 3:1-10
BeholdH2009, I sendH7971 my messengerH4397, and he shall prepareH6437 the wayH1870 beforeH6440 meH413: and the LordH3068, whomH834 ye seekH1245, shall suddenlyH6597 comeH935 to his templeH1964; and the messengerH4397 of the covenantH1285, whomH834 ye delightH2655 in, beholdH2009, he cometh, saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635.
But who may abide the dayH3117 of his comingH935? and who shall standH5975 when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’sH6884 fireH784, and like fullers’H3526 soapH1287:
and he shall sitH3427 as a refiner and purifierH2891 of silverH3701, and he shall purifyH2891 the sonsH1121 of LeviH3878, and purgeH2891 them as goldH2091 and silverH3701; and they shall offer unto the LORDH3068 offeringsH4503 in righteousnessH6666.
Then shall the offering of JudahH3063 and JerusalemH3389 be pleasantH6149 unto the LORDH3068, as in the daysH3117 of oldH5769, and as in ancientH5769 yearsH8141.
And I will comeH1961 nearH7126 to youH3808 to judgmentH4941; and I will be a swiftH4116 witnessH5707 againstH413 the sorcerersH3784, and againstH413 the adulterersH5003, and againstH413 falseH8267 swearers; and againstH413 thoseH7126 that oppressH6231 the hireling in his wagesH7939, the widowH490, and the fatherlessH3490, and that turnH5186 asideH5186 the strangerH1616 from his rightH4941, and fearH3372 notH3808 meH413, saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635.
For I the LORDH3068 change notH3808; therefore ye, O sonsH1121 of JacobH3290, are notH3808 consumedH3615.
From the daysH3117 of your fathersH1 ye have turnedH7725 asideH5493 from mine ordinances, and have notH3808 keptH8104 them. ReturnH7725 unto meH413, and I will returnH7725 unto youH3117, saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635. But ye sayH559, Wherein shall weH3117 returnH7725?
Will a manH120 robH6906 GodH430? yet ye robH6906 meH859. But ye sayH559, Wherein have weH3588 robbedH6906 thee? In tithesH4643 and offeringsH8641.
Ye are cursedH779 with the curseH779; for ye robH6906 meH3605, evenH853 this wholeH3605 nationH1471.
BringH935 ye the wholeH3605 titheH4643 intoH413 the storehouseH214, that there may be meat in mine houseH1004, and prove meH413 nowH4994 herewith, saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635, ifH518 I will notH3808 openH6605 youH518 the windowsH699 of heavenH8064, and pour youH518 outH413 a blessingH1293, that there shall notH3808 be roomH1004 enoughH1767 to receiveH1961 it.
