Revised Version 1895
Amos 2:9-12
9Yet destroyedH8045 I the AmoriteH567 beforeH6440 them, whoseH834 heightH1363 was like the heightH1363 of the cedarsH730, and he was strongH2634 as the oaksH437; yet I destroyedH8045 his fruitH6529 from aboveH4605, and his rootsH8328 from beneathH8478.
10Also I broughtH5927 youH853 upH5927 outH3423 of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, and led youH853 fortyH705 yearsH8141 in the wildernessH4057, to possessH3423 the landH776 of the AmoriteH567.
11And I raisedH6965 upH6965 of your sonsH1121 for prophetsH5030, and of your youngH1121 menH970 for NaziritesH5139. Is it notH369 evenH637 thus, O ye childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478? saith the LORDH3068.
12But ye gaveH6680 the NaziritesH5139 wineH3196 to drinkH8248; and commandedH6680 the prophetsH5030, sayingH559, ProphesyH5012 notH3808.
