Amos 2:9-12
9Yet destroyedH8045 I the AmoriteH567 beforeH6440 them, whose heightH1363 was like the heightH1363 of the cedarsH730, and he was strongH2634 as the oaksH437; yet I destroyedH8045 his fruitH6529 from aboveH4605, and his rootsH8328 from beneath. 10Also I brought you upH5927 from the landH776 of EgyptH4714, and ledH3212 you fortyH705 yearsH8141 through the wildernessH4057, to possessH3423 the landH776 of the AmoriteH567. 11And I raised upH6965 of your sonsH1121 for prophetsH5030, and of your young menH970 for NazaritesH5139. Is it not even thus, O ye childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478? saithH5002 YhwhH3068. 12But ye gave the NazaritesH5139 wineH3196 to drinkH8248; and commandedH6680 the prophetsH5030, sayingH559, ProphesyH5012 not.
