1Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) 2And all the brethren which are with me, unto the Assemblies of Galatia: Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, 4Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 5To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

- Tyndale Open Study Notes · v. 3Grace and peace to you from God: This is a common greeting by Paul (see also study note on 1 Corinthians 1:3). It combines Greek and Hebrew greetings. "Grace" (Greek charis) is similar to "greetings" (Greek chairein). "Peace" reflects Hebrew shalom. Paul included both Jewish and non-Jewish Christians (compare Galatians 3:28). The Galatians risked losing God's grace and peace (3:1–4; 5:1–4).Read the comment
- Jamieson–Fausset–Brown Commentary · v. 33. from ... from--Omit the second "from." The Greek joins God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ in closet union, by there being but the one preposition.Read the comment
