Context of Psalms 19:6
4Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world. God has made a home in the heavens for the sun. 5It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding. It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race. The sun rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat. 7The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. 8The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living.

- Tyndale Open Study Notes · v. 1-14God's wisdom is clearly shown in many places: It appears in the heavens (Psalm 19:1–4), in nature (Psalm 19:4–6), in his teachings (Psalm 19:7–11), and in the life of the psalmist (Psalm 19:12–14) Like Psalm 8, this hymn uses creation to lead people to reflect on God. It offers a calm moment after the intense prayers and victory songs in earlier psalms. The psalm begins with creation as a source of wisdom. It then moves to God’s word as the perfect source…Read the comment
