Context of Psalms 19:6
4Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. 5It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth. 7The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. 8The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.

- Tyndale Open Study Notes · v. 1-14God's wisdom is clearly shown in many places: It appears in the heavens (Psalm 19:1–4), in nature (Psalm 19:4–6), in his teachings (Psalm 19:7–11), and in the life of the psalmist (Psalm 19:12–14) Like Psalm 8, this hymn uses creation to lead people to reflect on God. It offers a calm moment after the intense prayers and victory songs in earlier psalms. The psalm begins with creation as a source of wisdom. It then moves to God’s word as the perfect source…Read the comment
