Context of Micah 4:5
3He will judge between many peoples and decide for mighty nations far off. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor will they learn war again. 4But each man will sit under his vine and under his fig tree, with no one causing terror, for the mouth of Adonai-Tzva’ot has spoken. Though all the peoples will walk each in the name of his god, so we ourselves will walk in the Name of Adonai Eloheinu, forever and ever. 6“In that day” —it is a declaration of Adonai— “I will gather her who is limping, and her who was banished will I collect, even those whom I have afflicted. 7I will make her who was limping into a remnant, and her who was banished a mighty nation. Adonai will reign over them on Mount Zion from that time and forever.”

- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 5For all people well walk, every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the Lord our God - Hitherto unsteadfastness had been the very characteristic sin of Israel. It was, “constant only in its inconstancy,” ever “falling away like their forefathers, starting aside like a broken bow” Psalm 78:57. The pagan persevered in their worship, because it was evil or had evil in it, not checking but feeding their passions. Israel did not…Read the comment

There: they will learn to follow God's laws and teachings; these laws and teachings will spread among the nations as they leave God's house; peace and well-being will grow as…Read the comment
