Context of Luke 5:13
11So when they had brought the boats to the landing, they left everything and followed Him. 12Now while Yeshua was in one of the towns, a man covered with tza'arat appeared. And when he saw Yeshua, he fell on his face and begged Him, saying, “Master, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Yeshua stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing. Be cleansed!” Immediately, the tza'arat left him. 14Yeshua ordered him to tell no one, but commanded him, “Go and show yourself to the kohen. Then bring an offering for your cleansing, just as Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.” 15But the news about Yeshua was spreading all the more, and many crowds were coming together to hear and to be healed of their diseases.

- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 12-16Verses 12-16 This man is said to be full of leprosy; he had that distemper in a high degree, which represents our natural pollution by sin; we are full of that leprosy; from the crown of the head to the sole of the foot there is no soundness in us. Strong confidence and deep humility are united in the words of this leper. And if any sinner, from a deep sense of vileness, says, I know the Lord can cleanse, but will he look upon such a one as me? will he…Read the comment
