Nahum 2:8-13
8But NinevehH5324 hath been from of old like a pool of water: yet they flee awayH1540; StandH5324, standH5324, they cryH6963; but none looketh backH5927. 9TakeH5975 ye the spoil of silver, takeH5975 the spoil of gold: for there is noneH369 end of the store, the glory of allH3117 pleasant furniture. 10She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and anguish is in allH3605 loins, and the faces of them allH3605 are waxed pale. 11Where is the den of the lions, and the feeding placeH3605 of the young lions, where the lion and the lioness walked, the lion’s whelp, and noneH3605 madeH3605 them afraid? 12The lionH738 didH834 tear in pieces enough for his whelps, and strangled for his lionesses, and filled his caves with prey, and his dens with ravin. 13Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn herH4390 chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lionsH738: and I will cut off thy preyH2964 from the earth, and the voice of thy messengersH4390 shall no more be heard.
