Revised Version 1895

Micah 5:4-9

4And he shall standH6965, and shall feedH7462 his flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God: and they shall abide; for nowH1961 shall he be great unto the ends of the earthH776.

5And this man shall be our peace: when the Assyrian shall comeH935 intoH935 our landH776, and when he shall treadH1869 in our palaces, then shall weH3588 raise againstH935 him seven shepherdsH7462, and eight principal men.

6And they shall wasteH3176 the landH7130 of Assyria with the sword, and the landH7130 of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: and he shall deliver usH5921 from the Assyrian, when he cometh intoH5921 our landH7130, and when he treadeth withinH7130 our borderH1961.

7And the remnantH7611 of JacobH3290 shall be in the midstH7130 of manyH7227 peoplesH5971 as dew from the LORD, as showers uponH1961 the grass; that tarrieth notH369 for manH369, norH369 waiteth for the sons of menH5971.

8And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go throughH3027, treadeth downH3772 and teareth in pieces, and there is noneH3605 to deliver.

9LetH1961 thine hand be lifted upH1961 above thine adversaries, and letH1961 allH3117 thine enemies be cutH3772 offH3772.
