Revised Version 1895
Lamentations 3:24-32
The LORDH3068 is my portionH2506, saith my soulH5315; therefore will I hopeH3176 in him.
The LORDH3068 is goodH2896 unto them that waitH6960 for him, to the soulH5315 that seeketh him.
It is goodH2896 that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvationH8668 of the LORDH3068.
It is goodH2896 for a manH1397 that he bearH5375 the yokeH5923 in his youthH5271.
Let him sitH3427 aloneH910 and keep silence, becauseH3588 he hath laidH5190 it uponH5921 him.
LetH5414 him putH5414 his mouthH6310 in the dustH6083; ifH194 soH5414 be there may he hopeH8615.
LetH5414 him giveH5414 his cheekH3895 to him that smiteth him; letH5414 him be filledH7646 fullH7646 with reproachH2781.
For the LordH136 will notH3808 cast off for everH5769.
For thoughH3588 he cause griefH3013, yet will he have compassionH7355 according to the multitudeH7230 of his mercies.
