Revised Version 1895
Amos 9:2-6
2ThoughH518 they digH2864 intoH3027 hell, thence shall mine handH3027 takeH3947 them; and thoughH518 they climbH5927 upH5927 to heavenH8064, thence will I bringH5927 them downH3381.
3And thoughH518 they hideH5641 themselvesH2244 in the topH7218 of CarmelH3760, I will searchH2664 and takeH3947 them outH5641 thence; and thoughH518 they be hidH5641 from my sightH5869 in the bottom of the seaH3220, thence will I commandH6680 the serpentH5175, and he shall bite them.
4And thoughH518 they go intoH5921 captivityH7628 beforeH6440 their enemiesH341, thence will I commandH6680 the swordH2719, and it shall slayH2026 them: and I will setH7760 mine eyesH5869 uponH5921 them for evilH7451, and notH3808 for goodH2896.
5For the LordH136, the GODH136 of hostsH6635, is he that toucheth the landH776 and it melteth, and allH3605 that dwellH3427 therein shall mournH56; and it shall riseH5927 upH5927 whollyH3605 like the RiverH2975; and shall sinkH8257 again, like the RiverH2975 of EgyptH4714;
6it is he that buildeth his chambers in the heavenH8064, and hath foundedH3245 his vault uponH5921 the earthH776; he that calleth for the watersH4325 of the seaH3220 and poureth them outH8210 uponH5921 the faceH6440 of the earthH776; the LORDH3068 is his nameH8034.
