Revised Version 1895
Amos 5:4-8
4For thusH3541 saith the LORDH3068 unto the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, SeekH1875 ye meH1875, and ye shall liveH2421:
5but seekH1875 notH3808 Beth-el, norH3808 enterH935 intoH1540 GilgalH1537, and passH5674 notH3808 to Beer-sheba: for GilgalH1537 shall surelyH3588 goH935 intoH1540 captivityH1540, and Beth-el shall comeH935 to nought.
6SeekH1875 the LORDH3068, and ye shall liveH2421; lestH6435 he break outH853 like fireH784 in the houseH1004 of JosephH3130, and it devourH398 and there be noneH369 to quenchH3518 it in Beth-el:
7Ye who turnH2015 judgmentH4941 to wormwoodH3939, and cast down righteousnessH6666 to the earthH776;
8seek him that maketh the PleiadesH3598 and OrionH3685, and turneth the shadowH6757 of deathH6757 intoH5921 the morningH1242, and maketh the dayH3117 darkH2821 with nightH3915; that calleth for the watersH4325 of the seaH3220, and poureth them outH8210 uponH5921 the faceH6440 of the earthH776; the LORDH3068 is his nameH8034;
