Context of Acts 2:45
43And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. 44And all that believed were together, and had all things common; and they sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all, according as any man had need. 46And day by day, continuing stedfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they did take their food with gladness and singleness of heart, 47praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to them day by day those that were being saved.

- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 42-47Verses 42-47 In these verses we have the history of the truly primitive church, of the first days of it; its state of infancy indeed, but, like that, the state of its greatest innocence. They kept close to holy ordinances, and abounded in piety and devotion; for Christianity, when admitted in the power of it, will dispose the soul to communion with God in all those ways wherein he has appointed us to meet him, and has promised to meet us. The greatness of…Read the comment

Life in this new community included: devotion to the teaching of the apostles from God’s word, fellowship, sharing, joy, and praise. The difficulty can only be removed by supposing that they already employed sprinkling, or baptized in houses in large vessels.
