Revised Literal Translation
Proverbs 9:7-12
7He that reprovethH3256 a scornerH3887 gettethH3947 to himself shameH7036: and he that rebukethH3198 a wickedH7563 man getteth himself a blotH3971.
8ReproveH3198 not a scornerH3887, lest he hateH8130 thee: rebukeH3198 a wise manH2450, and he will loveH157 thee.
9GiveH5414 instruction to a wiseH2450 man, and he will be yet wiserH2449: teachH3045 a justH6662 man, and he will increaseH3254 in learningH3948.
10The fearH3374 of YhwhH3068 is the beginningH8462 of wisdomH2451: and the knowledgeH1847 of the holyH6918 is understandingH998.
11For by me thy daysH3117 shall be multipliedH7235, and the yearsH8141 of thy lifeH2416 shall be increasedH3254.
12If thou be wiseH2449, thou shalt be wiseH2449 for thyself: but if thou scornestH3887, thou alone shalt bearH5375 it.
