Context of Psalms 77:10
8Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore? 9Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah. And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High. 11I will remember the works of Yah: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. 12I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

Commentaries on Psalms 77:10
- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 10And I said, This is my infirmity - The Hebrew is very obscure, and has been differently translated: עליון ימימן שנות היא חלותי ואמר vaomar challothi hi shenoth yemin elyon ; "And I said, Is this my weakness? Years the right hand of the Most High." If חלותי challothi comes from חלה chalah, and signifies to pray, as De Dieu has thought, then his translation may be proper: Precari hoc meum est; mutare dextram Altissimi. "To pray, this my business; to change…Read the comment
- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 10And I said, This is my infirmity - The meaning of this phrase is not, as would appear from our translation, that his reflections on the subject were to be traced to his weakness, or were a proof of weakness of mind, but that the subject overpowered him. This verse has been very variously rendered. The Septuagint and the Vulgate translate it, “And I said, now I begin; this is a change of the right hand of the Most High,” with what meaning it is difficult…Read the comment
