Has His anger shut off His compassion?” Selah So I said, “I am grieved that the right hand of the Most High has changed.” 11I will remember the works of the LORD; yes, I will remember Your wonders of old. 12I will reflect on all You have done and ponder Your mighty deeds.

Commentaries on Psalms 77:10
- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 10And I said, This is my infirmity - The Hebrew is very obscure, and has been differently translated: עליון ימימן שנות היא חלותי ואמר vaomar challothi hi shenoth yemin elyon ; "And I said, Is this my weakness? Years the right hand of the Most High." If חלותי challothi comes from חלה chalah, and signifies to pray, as De Dieu has thought, then his translation may be proper: Precari hoc meum est; mutare dextram Altissimi. "To pray, this my business; to change…Read the comment

This verse has been very variously rendered. The Septuagint and the Vulgate translate it, “And I said, now I begin; this is a change of the right hand of the Most High,” with what meaning it is difficult…Read the comment
