Context of Mark 5:9
7He screamed loudly, ‘Jesus, you are the Son of the Most High God! What are you doing here? Please, promise God that you will not hurt me.’ 8He said that because Jesus had already said to the bad spirit, ‘Come out of this man.’ Then Jesus asked the man, ‘What is your name?’ The man replied, ‘My name is Army because there are so many bad spirits in me.’ 10He said to Jesus many times, ‘Please do not send these bad spirits away from this place.’ 11A large group of pigs was eating on the hill.

And do you think that the Spirit of God could employ himself in retailing such ridiculous and nonsensical prejudices? "But the evangelist gives these as this madman's words, and it was necessary that, as a faithful historian, he should mention these circumstances." But this objection is destroyed by…Read the comment
