Context of Genesis 10:7
5These people lived by the sea. They lived in groups. Each group went to live in a different place. Each group spoke its own language. 6These are the sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put and Canaan. These are the sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah and Sabteca. These are the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan. 8Cush was also the father of Nimrod. Nimrod became the first brave soldier in the world. 9The Lord helped Nimrod to be a great hunter. That is why people say, ‘Like Nimrod, a great hunter that the Lord helped.’
