Context of Ezekiel 25:10
8The Almighty Lord says this: The people in Moab and Seir said, “Judah's people have become the same as all the other nations.” 9So listen! I will let enemies attack the towns on the border of Moab. I will destroy their greatest cities, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon and Kiriathaim. I will give Moab's people to the people in the east as their slaves, together with the Ammonites. The other nations will not remember the Ammonites any more. 11I will also punish Moab's people. Then they will know that I am the Lord. 12The Almighty Lord says this: Edom's people were cruel to Judah's people when they wanted to punish them. They are guilty because of what they did to Judah's people.

Those who glory in any other defence and protection than the Divine power, providence, and promise, will, sooner or later, be ashamed of their glorying. Those who will not leave it to God to take vengeance for them, may expect that he will take vengeance on them. - Tyndale Open Study Notes · v. 8-11The people of Moab believed they could attack Judah without punishment. They treated Judah as if it were just another nation. This was not true. He would discipline his people, but he would not abandon them forever. Moab, however, would face judgment. Like Ammon, Moab would be removed from…Read the comment
