Had this never entered into the world, there had not been either pain, distortion, or death. Who was the agent in it? Satan; Luke 13:16. - Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 11There was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity - Was infirm, or was weak and afflicted. This was produced by Satan, Luke 13:16. Eighteen years - This affliction had continued a long time. This shows that the miracle was real; that the disease was not feigned.
