Context of Psalms 28:7
5Since they show no regard for the deeds of Adonai nor the work of His hands, He will tear them down and never build them up. 6Blessed be Adonai, because He has heard the sound of my supplications. Adonai is my strength and my shield. My heart trusts in Him, and I was helped. Therefore my heart leaps for joy, and I will praise Him with my song. 8Adonai is their strength—a stronghold of salvation for His anointed. 9Save Your people, bless Your inheritance, shepherd them and carry them forever.
