Tree of Life Version
Nehemiah 3:37
37Do not cover their guilt or blot out their sin from before You, for they have provoked You to anger before the builders.
Context of Nehemiah 3:37
35Then Tobiah the Ammonite, who was beside him, said: “Even if a fox climbed on what they are building, it would break down their stone wall!” 36Hear, our God, for we are despised. Turn their insult back on their own head! Give them up as plunder in a land of captivity. Do not cover their guilt or blot out their sin from before You, for they have provoked You to anger before the builders. 38So we rebuilt the wall, and the entire wall was joined together up to half its height, for the people had a heart to work.
