Context of John 12:17
15“Fear not, Daughter of Zion! Look! Your King is coming, sitting on a donkey’s colt.” 16His disciples did not understand these things at first. But when Yeshua was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about Him and that the crowd had done these things for Him. So the crowd, which had been with Yeshua when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead, kept on telling everyone about it. 18It was also for this reason that the crowd came out to meet Him, because they heard that He had performed this sign. 19So the Pharisees said to each other, “You see that you can’t do anything. Look, the whole world has taken off after Him!”
